About the Store
We are a member of VABA (Vermont Antiquarian Booksellers Association)
Oxbow Books is located on Route 5, one mile north of the village green, Newbury, Vt. The shop is open all year round by chance or appointment. A phone call is recommended . The owner is Peter Keyes.
The shop is small, with about 2500 books in a variety of categories. Specialties are Americana, Frances Parkinson Keyes, Modern 1st Editions and Vermontiana. Another specialty is old postcards and ephemera with 15,000-20,000 items. In addition, a small number of books, postcards and ephemera is at The Antiques Collaborative on Route 4 in Quechee, on the Woodstock side of Quechee Gorge and across the river from Simon Pearce. If at the end of description of title the word Quechee appears, the title is at the TAC, and will take time to retrieve.
